No Fly Zone (11/5/2016)

After having spent countless hours developing software for the F-Series platform, we finally cleared up enough time to take our F10 M5 to a half-mile racing event.

Our F10 M5 is flashed with our Stage I tune, stock exhaust, and BMS intakes.

We also had a customer bring his Stage II F10 M5 with catless downpipes to the event. His car was consistently trapping speeds around ~162-163 MPH with the stock turbos.

As you’re probably wondering, what are the power differences between these two animals?

Here’s a quick video of the results! 🙂

We also lined up the M5 versus a few different animals out on the air strip.

We raced a tuned E63 4Matic. Check out the video below! 😉

We also raced a few C6 Z06’s out on the strip. Most had bolt-ons and tune. The M5 easily walked C6 Z06’s with bolt ons.

In conclusion, we’re extremely happy we got to open the car up on the air strip. With over 700+ hp, it is extremely difficult to utilize such power levels on the street. The results were phenomenal for a stock car with just a tune. If you own of these beasts, we highly recommend taking it to a half-mile racing event. The experience is unforgettable and you’ll leave the event learning even more about your car.

How could we forget team photo to commemorate a great day with some great people!?
