Sirius/XM Satellite Radio Activation

Sirius satellite installation process:

1. After your order is received, we will obtain your factory Sirius activation certificates from BMW.

2. You will receive download links for the operating system you choose on the order page (Windows or Mac)

3. Please download all of the links and follow the provided instructions.

4. We will reach out to you, or you can contact us to schedule your remote session.

5. Prior to the session, test the internet connection while sitting in your vehicle to ensure it functions well.

6. At the time of your session, you will plug the cable into your computer and then into the vehicle.

7. We will remote in and perform the activation. The process normally takes about 30 minutes.

8. Call Sirius, and enjoy your free year of service! Note that F and G series vehicles require a PC with an Ethernet port to complete this activation.

If you do not have an Ethernet port on your laptop, you can purchase a USB to Ethernet adapter online. (This applies to F and G series only)

E series vehicles may use MAC or PC and only require a standard USB port for connecting to the vehicle.
