Details
Symptoms of a failed footwell module include:
-Electrical system malfunction error on the iDrive
-Loss of window switch functionality
-Headlights are stuck on regardless of switch position
-Loss of locking/unlocking, and central locking features
The Footwell module you will be receiving is brand new and will be the latest version from BMW (version 3). Version 1 and 2 in vehicles from 2006 to 2010 were less feature rich - so if you've added LED tail lights, this will add factory support for them as well as welcome lighting functions if your vehicle wasn't originally equipped with them. The module will need to be coded to your vehicle after installation. In some cases, we can pre code the module to your vehicle before shipment.
After programming, any lost functionality will be restored to your vehicle.
