What does the PROFLEX Commander do?

The PROFLEX Commander™ delivers E85 performance to vehicles utilizing an ethanol sensor for proper calculation of fuel delivery (included with kit). The unit is bolt-on without the need for any modification or programming of the ECU. We currently have applications available for many cars, trucks, and motorcycles and are constantly expanding our application list. Our unit ensures your vehicle consistently maintains its stock or tuned air/fuel ratio no matter what fuel blend you use.

E85 is a much higher performing fuel that can increase vehicle performance while running cooler and keeping your engine cleaner than running gasoline. Want proof that E85 increases vehicle horsepower? Check out our Dyno Data page. Whether you're looking to post better track times or just get more power and responsiveness out of your daily driver, with the PROFLEX Commander™ you can get race-grade fuel without the race-grade price right at the pump!

Is my vehicle safe?
From dedicated track cars and sport bikes to daily drivers and cruisers, most modern stock vehicles do not require any additional upgrades to run E85 with the PROFLEX Commander™. Once installed, any mixture of gas and E85 can safely be run. If a vehicle is modified and cannot deliver enough fuel for full E85 operation, a lower mixture of ethanol can still be run to increase performance over gasoline. As little as 30% mixture of ethanol in gasoline is equivalent to around 100 octane. The PROFLEX Commander™ is compatible with all major vehicle manufacturers and includes a 1-year limited warranty. If you have any special concerns, just give us a call at 866-902-FUEL!

Does it come with a warranty?
Advanced Fuel Dynamics Inc. warrants to the consumer that all PROFLEX products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from date of the original purchase. Products that fail within this 12-month warranty period will be repaired or replaced at AFD’s option, when determined by AFD that the product failed due to defects in material or workmanship. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the AFD part. In no event shall this warranty exceed the original purchase price of the AFD part nor shall AFD be responsible for special, incidental or consequential damages or cost incurred due to the failure of this product. Warranty claims to AFD must be transportation prepaid and accompanied with dated proof of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of product and is non-transferable. All implied warranties shall be limited in duration to the said 12-month warranty period. Improper use or installation, accident, abuse, unauthorized repairs or alterations voids this warranty. AFD disclaims any liability for consequential damages due to breach of any written or implied warranty on all products manufactured by AFD. Warranty returns will only be accepted by AFD when accompanied by a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Product must be received by AFD within 30 days of the date the RMA is issued.

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)).
